Pineapple Dulce Cake Recipe

This cake has a toffee like taste with pineapple essence added to the cake sponge and covered with simple white whipped cream. Between the sponge layers have kept chopped pieces of canned pineapple. This pieces gives an awesome taste to the cake.

Ingredients For Pineapple Dulce Cake Recipe

  • 1. Pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 170°C. Sift all the dry ingredients (all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda)3-4 times. Keep them aside.
  • 2. In a bowl take all the wet ingredients (butter, condensed milk, dulce de leche, water, sugar and pineapple essence), heat on high for 1 minute in a microwave.
  • 3. Mix the dry ingredients to wet ingredients gradually in three parts. Don't over mix.
  • 4. The mixture should have smooth texture. Pour the mixture in greased 6
  • 5. Bake the cake in the oven for 50 minutes or till the toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cake sponge cool properly.
  • 6. Whip the whipping cream till stiff peaks are formed.
  • 7. Cut the cake sponge in 3 parts. Take a cake board apply little whipped cream and place one part on the board.
  • 8. Soak the layer with sugar syrup (used the one in which canned pineapple slices are stored) properly. Now apply a layer of whipped cream then place small pieces of chopped canned pineapple on it.
  • 9. Similarly do it for the next layer. Finally cover the cake with whipped cream and decorate as you like it.
