Roast the red rice on slow flame.Once cool,grind into fine powder. Seive the powder before use.

Ingredients For Poha cutlets Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dry roast the red rice and cool it.Grind it to fine pwder. Set aside
  • 2. Take the flatten rice or poha and place them in a colander.Pour water on top and wet them.Do not soak them.We just need to get them wet
  • 3. Drain excess water and remove the poha in a bowl
  • 4. To the poha add the potato,carrots,onion,fried onion,spices,salt,garlic paste ,coriander and green chilles .Add the peanuts and the rice flour too.
  • 5. Mix everything together and divide into equal portions
  • 6. Flatten each portion into desired shapes
  • 7. Roll each cutlet into the panko bread crumbs
  • 8. Heat a griddle and shallow fry the Cutlets till golden brown on both the sides
  • 9. Enjoy warm with some hot cuppa tea or Coffee
