Ingredients For Punjabi mini potato and pea samosa

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, salt, carom seeds and make a stiff dough with water.
  • 2. Cover and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
  • 3. Meanwhile, heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, crushed coriander seeds .
  • 4. When seeds starts spluttering, add ginger, green chilli, onion. Cook till onion turns pink.
  • 5. Add slight mashed peas and potatos. Mix well.
  • 6. Add all the spices and mix. Turn off the gas and let the stuffing cool down.
  • 7. Pinch small portion of the dough. Roll into a small poori.
  • 8. Cut the poori into half. Take one part, apply water on the straight side and roll like a cone.
  • 9. Fill the samosa with stuffing. Pinch all the edges properly.
  • 10. Heat oil in a wok. Fry these mini samosas on low medium flame till they become golden brown.
  • 11. Serve with hot masala chai.
