Ingredients For Rava idli Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a pan heat oil, temper mustard seeds,urad daal,, asofoiteda,chopped curry leaves,chopped coriander leaves
  • 2. To this tempering add chopped chillies and grated ginger ,mix all well
  • 3. To this add rava saute it till golden
  • 4. Add salt to this pan
  • 5. Now let this mixture come to room temperature and transfer it to another bowl
  • 6. To this bowl add curd and water as needed
  • 7. Cover it for 20 minutes
  • 8. Meanwhile prepare the steamer and heat it for 10 minutes
  • 9. Now grease the idli plates with oil
  • 10. Now to the rava batter of idli after twenty minutes check it's consistency and add water 2 tbsp around if needed
  • 11. The consistency should be semi thick ,to this add 1 tbsp fruit salt per idli stand and mix all well fast
  • 12. Fill the idli plates, steam it on high flame for 15 minutes
  • 13. Now take them out of steamer,remove idlis, serve it with sambhar chutney whatever u like
