Ingredients For Saffron rice calas Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Prepare the batter by mixing flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, saffron, cardamom powder and required amount of milk together in a bowl. The batter must be neither so thick nor so thin.
  • 2. Add cooked rice in it and mix it well.
  • 3. Heat oil in a pan or Kadai and then drop the rice mixture in it for making the fritters.
  • 4. Cook till the fritters are golden in colour.
  • 5. Now your saffron rice cakes are ready.
  • 6. Sprinkle some sugar powder over them and serve hot.
