Ingredients For Sarson wale Baigan Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Cut the bringal into long strips. Marinate the brinjals with little bit of turmeric powder n salt.
  • 2. Keep this for 5 mins. Now take oil in a kadai, let it heat n deep fry this bringals.
  • 3. For gravy, take 3 to 4 tablespoon of oil, add hing, meethi dana n chopped green chili into the oil.
  • 4. Once flutter, add both the mustard paste. Fry for sometime.
  • 5. Then add tomato paste, garlic paste,spices( turmeric, chilli, corainder powder, pepper)
  • 6. Now mix the tomato puree n masalas. Add salt. Cook the masalas for sometime.
  • 7. Add required amount of water to form a gravy, once gravy gets boiled, add the fried brinjal or baigan to the gravy.
  • 8. Cook for sometime,Add kasuri meethi n lemon juice. Switch off the flame. Serve with steamed rice.
