Ingredients For Sattu kachori with wheat flour Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Add salt and oil to the wheat flour and prepare roti like soft daugh by adding water in batches .let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 2. Heat oil in kadhai for making sattu stuffing.add jeera and fennel seeds.add hing as jeera turns red.now add sattu and roast it on low flame till light golden brown.now add all dry spices,salt and lemon juice.roast it on low flame for 1/2 a minute and switch off the flame.
  • 3. Heat up the oil on slow flame to fry the kachoris.from the Kachori's dough break off pieces as big as lemon.
  • 4. Take one part and Expand it with your fingers, place 1 tsp of stuffing on it, wrap up the piece and close it. Keeping it on your palm press gently with the other hand and expand a little.
  • 5. Now place it on a board and roll it into a Kachori (with a rolling pin)2 1/2- 3 inches in diameter. Kachori should be thick. Make 4-5 Kachoris in this way, put them in hot oil and fry them on low flame till golden brown and crisp from both the sides.
  • 6. Make other kachoris also by repeating the same process.
  • 7. Serve hot with mint coriander chatney and tomato sauce.
