Recipe Notes

After 35 mins, check whether the cake is done by lifting the lid on. If not then check in every 10 min interval. Once the tooth pick comes out clean; switch off the gas and let the cake tin be in the cooker for another 5 mins. Remove from cooker, let it cool completely and then un-mould.

  • 1. 1. Firstly preheating heavy bottom cooker or badti oven for 10 min on high flam
  • 2. 2. In a mixer, combine together milk, sugar and oil and blend until smooth.
  • 3. 3. Transfer it to a bowl and add curd. Mix well. Add suji, vanilla essense, cardamom powder , saffron and baking soda
  • 4. 4. Greased cake pot and dust some maida
  • 5. 5 . Transfer all mixture in cake pot and tape 2-3 time
  • 6. 6. Pour half cup salt in cooker
  • 7. 7. Bake in the preheated pressure cooker for 45 mins on medium flame
  • 8. 8. When is cake is cool. Dust icing sugar on cake to decorate
  • 9. 9 decorate with gems
