Recipe Notes

Remember we are using fine sooji to begin with but pulsing in few times in a processor/blender makes the cake texture even better.Mine baking was done at 35 minutes exact but every oven is different so keep an eye after 25 minutes.

Methods
  • 1. Pulse fine sooji (semolina) into a food processor few times.
  • 2. whisked yogurt, oil and 1/4 cup of milk.
  • 3. Add venila accence to it nd mix well
  • 4. Now add suji Mix really well, around 1 min. until everything is nicely combined.
  • 5. Now cover with a plate and set aside for 15 /20 min. semolina will absorb the liquid and thicken up
  • 6. Meanwhile pre-heat oven to 180° and grease the cake tin with oil sprinkle some maida and set aside.
  • 7. After 20 min, add the remaining 1/4 cup of milk, tutti frutti and mix until well combined.
  • 8. Now add the baking powder and baking soda and mix really well.
  • 9. Add tooty fruity nd dry fruits into it.
  • 10. Lastly add Vinegar nd mix with light hand with cut nd fold method dnt over mix.
  • 11. Transfer the batter immediately to the prepare cake tin. Top with chopped cashews, almond , tooty fruity .
  • 12. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  • 13. Take the cake out of the oven and let it be for 10 to 15 minutes,then remove cake from pan.
  • 14. transfer onto a wire rack to cool completely. Then slice this Tutti Frutti Sooji Cake and enjoy.
