Ingredients For Thalipeeth Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl take all the four flours.
  • 2. Add chopped spinach leaves, chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped garlic cloves, cumin seeds, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt to taste to flour mixture.
  • 3. Mix all the ingredients well, adding water little by little to make a tight and pliable dough. Cover the dough and set aside for 5 minutes. Add a little oil and knead a bit.
  • 4. Now take some dough and place it between two plastic sheets. Start pressing it gently to form a circle.
  • 5. Using your fingers to pat the dough to form a circle and make a hole in the center.
  • 6. Gently take the disc in your palm and carefully place it on the pan. Place it on heated iron tava brushed with oil.
  • 7. Flip when half cooked and let the other side get cooked till it becomes golden brown.
  • 8. Similarly make the other thalipeeth. Serve the ready thalipeeth with homemade pickles and green chillies.
