1.
For stuffing, melt jaggery in a pan and mix all the dry fruits in it and stir it for 2 minutes then add cardamom powder in it and mix it properly. Turn off the flame and keep it aside to cool it down.

For dough, heat water in a pan with 1 tsp ghee and salt, when the water starts to boil turn the flame off and mix rice flour in it.

Make a soft and smooth dough out of it.

Take a modka mould, apply ghee on it and spread dough in mould of equal thickness from all sides. Stuff it with the mixture and seal it with some dough and remove the modaks gently.

Make all the modaks in the same way.
6.
Heat the steamer. Keep the modak on steamer lined with muslin cloth.
7.
Steam for 10 -15 minutes until they turn translucent.
