Ingredients For Vegetable Chop Bengali Style Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add ginger paste, chopped green chillies, green peas & saute till soft.
  • 2. Add grated carrot, grated beetroots, salt, turmeric powder, and stir for 5 minutes low flame.
  • 3. Add bhaja masala & mix well, Turn off the heat.
  • 4. Cool and add this mixture to the mashed potatoes, roasted peanuts, breadcrumbs and mix.
  • 5. Shape oval & make a thin batter with corn flour, a pinch of salt and water.
  • 6. Dip each chop in the above batter and roll over breadcrumbs to coat the surface.
  • 7. Heat enough oil in a deep frying pan over medium high heat.
  • 8. when the oil is smoking hot, lower the heat to medium high and fry the vegetable chops in small batches till they are golden brown.
  • 9. Remove with slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • 10. Sprinkle some black salt or chaat Masala and serve hot with Mustard sauce.
