Methods
  • 1. Cream the butter and the sugar powder until soft and light.
  • 2. Mix the eggs and the vanilla essence, and gradually beat the eggs into the butter and sugar mixture.
  • 3. Mix the baking powder in the flour, and add it in the above mixture by cut and fold method, , and gradually add in the milk too.
  • 4. Now transfer the batter into a greased tin, and put to bake at 180 degree celsius for 20 minutess
  • 5. When baked take it out in the wire rack to cool.
  • 6. Now spread softened jam in the bottom half and place the other sponge on the top, dusting it with icing sugar.
