Ingredients For Bengali special Breakfast thali Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For Luchi, make a dough of flour, 1tspn salt , ghee & required hot water.Make a soft dough of it.Cover it & keep rest for 10 minutes.
  • 2. After 10 minutes, take small portion from dough , roll it & make small poori.
  • 3. Heat enough oil in a pan & deep fry the luchis.
  • 4. Wash the brinjal & cut thin round pieces of it. Marinate the brinjal pieces with salt, Turmeric powder & red chilli powder. Shallow fry the both sides of the brinjal. Brinjal fry is ready.
  • 5. For dum aloo, boil potatoes first. Then using a fork make small holes on it.
  • 6. Heat oil & deep fry the potatoes.Take out after that.
  • 7. Heat 1tbspn oil in a pan, add ginger paste & green chilli. When you feel the aroma of it ,add salt & all spices.
  • 8. After few minutes, add potatoes & sugar.Stir it constantly.
  • 9. Add 2 cup of water & Cook it in high flame for few minutes.
  • 10. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves & switch off the flame.
  • 11. For Kheer, boil milk first & make it half in quantity. Add sugar, chopped cashew nuts,a pinch of salt & cardamom powder.
  • 12. Fry the semolina in a tsp of ghee & add it to the milk.
  • 13. Boil it another 3 to 4 minutes & then switch off the flame.
  • 14. Delicious breakfast or brunch thali is ready to serve.
