Ingredients For Bikaneri Paratha Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak chana dal / bengal gram for 3 - 4 hours.
  • 2. Then drain chana dal completely and grind coarsely.
  • 3. Not too smooth not very coarse too.
  • 4. Heat oil in a pan.
  • 5. Add fennel seeds to crackle.
  • 6. Add coarsely grind chana dal / bengal gram and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • 7. Add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,kasuri methi,green chilly,coriander leaves.garam masala powder and salt and mix well
  • 8. Now stuffing is ready.
  • 9. Make a smooth dough with the listed ingredients.
  • 10. Stuff the filling in the dough and roll out into balls.
  • 11. Flatten the ball into thick round paratha.
  • 12. Grease a pan with little clarified butter / ghee and heat on a medium flame.
  • 13. Bikanari paratha is ready to eat.
  • 14. Serve garma garam paratha with pickles.
