Methods
  • 1. To make this healthy pulao recipe, wash the rice soak them in water for some time.
  • 2. heat the ghee in the pressure cooker over a medium flame and add the cumin seeds and let them splutter. Next, add the cinnamon sticks, cloves and green chillies in it.
  • 3. Now add the onions and garlic and stir fry until they turn a little brown. Then, add the soaked brown rice and all the chopped vegetables and saute them for a while.
  • 4. Add the garam masala and salt as per your taste. Mix them well.
  • 5. Pour in 2 cups of water. Close the lid and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  • 6. Turn off the flame and transfer the Brown rice pulao to a serving bowl. Then, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
