We all Love Kachoris - the crispy outer layer, with scrumptious gooey fillings. This one is a little different take on Kachoris - Here I have used cheese and onion as the filling and believe me they taste amazing. Do try these.

Knead the dough with warm water. Add the cheese only when the onions are completely cooled.

Ingredients For Cheese Kachoris Recipe

Methods
  • 1. FOR THE DOUGH - Take the flours & add the carrom seeds, baking soda, oil and knead a stiff dough.
  • 2. Let the dough rest aside for 30 minutes.
  • 3. FOR FILLING - Dry roast the coriander and fennel seeds and crush them in mortal & pestle.
  • 4. Heat oil add the curry leaves and the ground spices.
  • 5. Add chopped onions and saute till translucent.
  • 6. Let the oniuons cool completely
  • 7. Add the grated processed cheese & chopped coriander.
  • 8. No need to add salt as the cheese is salty.
  • 9. Now divide the dough into equal portions.
  • 10. Roll each dough into a small disc and in the center fill the prepared filling.
  • 11. Seal the edges properly removing the excess dough.
  • 12. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the kachoris on medium hot oil till golden brown on both the sides.
  • 13. Serve warm with some mint and tamarind chutney. Though they taste amazing as it is.
