Ingredients For Chusi payasam recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take rice flour and salt. Mix it. Add boiling water and mix it roughly with the help of a spatula, cover and rest it for 15min.
  • 2. Open the lid and make a smooth dough with hand.
  • 3. Take 1pinch dough and put it in one palm, with another palm roll it lightly. Put it in a plate.
  • 4. This is a time taking process. Do the same for rest of the dough and put the shapes in a plate. You can sprinkle some dry rice flour to avoid stickiness of the shapes.
  • 5. These shapes are called chusi. Rest it a bit for drying.
  • 6. By this time, boil milk. Once it is nicely boiled, add chusi, boil it for next 15min. Stir continuously and carefully. Otherwise chusi will stuck into the bottom of the pan.
  • 7. Add condensed milk, jaggery and boil again for next 5min. Turn off the gas. It will be thicker once it is cool.
  • 8. Serve it after taking it out from fridge.
