Coriander mutton curry recipe

Bengali's sunday lunch is incomplete without mutton curry and steaming hot rice/fried rice. The juice of this light curry is finger licking tasty and your mood will brighten up as soon as you bite through the tender mutton from the curry. My mom prepared it in simple way with familiar spices. This dish has a divine taste. Today I present this dish in my mom's style. Protein amount in goat meat is 27gm/100 gm.

You can use raw mutton instead of boiled mutton but in that case it will take more time.

Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a kadai, and add onion paste and sauté until raw smell of onion paste goes off.
  • 2. Now add all the ingredients except mutton and warm water.Cook until oil separates from the sides.
  • 3. Add mutton and stir for 5 minutes on a medium flame.
  • 4. Add warm water and cover for 10-15 minutes on a low flame.
  • 5. Serve hot with rice /fried rice/paratha.
