Delhi special raam laddoo (chaat) Recipe

Its a famous delhi street food or chaat recipe. well the ladoo’s are made from the moong dal and channa dal batter, very similar to medu vada. the batter is shaped into balls and deep fried till it is cooked and crisp.

Ingredients For Delhi special raam laddoo (chaat) Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Firstly, in a large bowl soak moong dal and chana dal for 4 hours.
  • 2. Now drain off the water and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  • 3. Transfer the dal to the blender add ginger and green chilli. blend to smooth paste adding water if required.
  • 4. Transfer the batter to the large mixing bowl. add cumin, pinch hing, pinch baking soda and salt.
  • 5. Beat and mix well until the batter turns frothy.
  • 6. Now dip your hand in the water, and start dropping one by one to hot oil.
  • 7. Keep the flame in lower to medium stir occasionally. fry them till turn golden brown.
  • 8. Drain off the laddoo on kitchen towel to absorb oil. place into the serving plate.
  • 9. Top with green chutney and tamarind chutney. top with grated radish and coriander leaves.
  • 10. Now sprinkle pinch chaat masala and pinch salt.
  • 11. Finally, enjoy ram ladoo topped with more green chutney and tamarind chutney
