Ingredients For Dudh pitha /doodh puli recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take grated coconut and mix it with 3:4th cup noeln gur. Place it in a pan and cook it for next 10minutes. Once it turns well bounded. Switch off the gas and keep it aside.
  • 2. Boil 3/4th cup water. Mix it with 1cup rice flour along with pinch of salt. Use a spatule for this process. Cover it for next 15min.
  • 3. After that make a soft dough with palm. Cut small cut into balls.
  • 4. Take one small portion, flatten it with palm, fill the coconut stuffing and close it properly such that no filling comes outside.
  • 5. Follow the same for all the pitha. Once it is done. Rest it for next 10min. In the mean time boil milk. Boil it until it turns into half. Now add all the pitha one by one in the boiling milk and boil it for next 10mins on low flame.
  • 6. Once the pitha is well cooked, it will start floating. Add milkmaid and nolen gur. Boil for another 5mins. Turn off the gas, let ir cool. Serve it.
