Falafel Shots Recipe

It is a famous middle Eastern Street food, made by chickpeas. You can also make this with multiple variations. I also added sweet corn in it. Rich source of protein. Good for children.

Ingredients For Falafel Shots Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and soak chickpeas for overnight.
  • 2. Drain the water ,wash the chickpeas well.Keep aside.
  • 3. In a mixer jar add all the ingredients except corn flour,bread crumbs, soda and oil.
  • 4. Grind it to make fine mixture. Do not add water.
  • 5. Transfer it in a bowl. Refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
  • 6. Take a small bowl, add corn flour and 3 tsp water.Make a slurry.
  • 7. Take out the mixture from refrigerator. Mix baking soda in it.
  • 8. Take some mixture in your hand , make cylinder shaped or ball shape falafel.
  • 9. Dip it in slurry, coat with breadcrumbs.
  • 10. Heat oil in a wok . Deep fry all the falafel on medium heat till it becomes golden brown.
  • 11. Fry all the falafel. For children I inserted an ice cream stick in each falafel .
  • 12. Serve it hot with sauce and salad or with any dip of your choice.
  • 13. Enjoy the crispy falafel.
