1.
Mix curd and semolina and leave for thirty minutes. carrot, beans and onion should be chopped

After thirty minutes the semolina will swell. Then mix water with vegetables, salt, baking soda and sugar to make a thick batter

Heat water in a pot. Place a stand on the water. Take some small steel bowl. Brush the oil in each bowl and pour the batter in half of the bowl. Place the bowls on the stand. So that the water is at the bottom of the bowl.

Check with a stick after twenty minutes. If the stick comes out clean then idli is ready
5.
Let it cool a little and unmould the idli by running a knife around it.
6.
Heat oil and add mustard and curry leaves. Fry idly till brown. Serve with tomato sauce
