Gobhi Pyaz Paratha Recipe

Gobhi paratha is a popular winter special flatbread from North Indian cuisine stuffed with spicy cauliflower filling. It can be made in so many ways, so today I have made gobhi(cauliflower)and pyaz(onion) stuffed paratha. It is a healthy, nutritious and filling breakfast.

Ingredients For Gobhi Pyaz Paratha Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For dough, In a big bowl take flour, salt and oil, add water and knead a soft dough.
  • 2. Wash and grate cauliflower, also crush onion in a food processor, add finely chopped Coriander leaves and green chili.
  • 3. Add salt and leave it for 10 minutes.
  • 4. Squeeze all water using muslin cloth.
  • 5. Transfer it in a plate and add chat masala, garam masala powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
  • 6. Make medium size balls from dough and fill the dough balls with stuffing.
  • 7. Seal the edges and flatten with hand, then roll out carefully with rolling pin.
  • 8. Cook it from both sides on tawa with using oil or ghee.
  • 9. Serve hot gobhi pyaz paratha with dollop of butter, green chutney and red chili chutney.
