Methods
  • 1. For the oats methi muthias Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well using approx. 2 tbsp of water.
  • 2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into round balls.
  • 3. Heat the deep non-stick pan with drizzle oil on pan Shallow-fry a few methi muthias at a time.
  • 4. Till muthiyas turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.
  • 5. For the hara chana curryCombine the coconut milk and cornflour in a bowl
  • 6. Mix well and keep aside.
  • 7. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan
  • 8. Add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  • 9. Add the boiled chana, coconut milk- cornflour mixture, salt and ¼ cup of water.
  • 10. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes
  • 11. While stirring occasionally.
  • 12. How to proceed Just before serving
  • 13. Re-heat the hara chana coconut curry, add the prepared oats methi muthias.
  • 14. Mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes
  • 15. While stirring occasionally.
  • 16. Serve immediately garnished with coriander.
