Ingredients For Jaggery Dal Shorba Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak lentils in water for about 20 minutes. Grind coriander, cumin , fennel , black pepper, cloves, cardamom, coconut and cinnamom to thick paste.
  • 2. Boil a liter of water. Add turmeric, salt, and jaggery, the soaked dals and the paste. Simmer on low heat till dal is tender.
  • 3. Temper dal with hot ghee, fried cumin mustard and fennel seeds.
  • 4. For Crunchy of the dal . Add fried peanut, Green pea, sesame seeds, slice of tomatoes.
