Ingredients For Masala Aalu Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Peel and cut the potatoes in pieces.
  • 2. Heat oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafoetida in it . Saute for few seconds .
  • 3. Add green chilli , grated ginger , curry leaves and chopped onions. Stir it. Cook on low heat till onions become light brown.
  • 4. Add tomatoes and salt in it. Cook it for 3-4 minutes.
  • 5. Now add all the spices. Mix it well. Add 1-2 tsp water. Saute it.
  • 6. Finally add boiled potatoes. Mix it gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • 7. Turn off the flame. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves.
