Apart from thus,its taste is incomparable .It can be made in various avatars.Here we will make its stuffed variation.When stuffed with healthy ingredients ,its benefits double.Try this out with plain prantha,chapati or as a side dish I am sure,you will want to make it again and again.

Ingredients For Oats and Paneer Stuffed Parwal Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and wipe dry parwal.Cut their ends.
  • 2. Slit them lengthwise,just like we do for stuffed karela or mirch.Keep aside.
  • 3. Grate onions.Squeeze out the water.
  • 4. Keep the onion water aside for later use.
  • 5. Crumble paneer and mix oats,onion and other spices in it.
  • 6. Stuff this mixture in the parwals.
  • 7. Heat oil in a thick bottomed broad pan and lower the flame.
  • 8. Place these parwals in the oil with the slit side facing up.Cover with a lid and let cook on low flame.
  • 9. Keep turning sides in between.When you feel that the stuffing is sticking to the bottom,add the onion water we had reserved.
  • 10. Gradually the skin of parwals will start lossening and getting wrinkled.It will change the colour also a bit.
  • 11. At this time,check for doneness.If the piece is easily cut with spoon,but still retain some crunch,your veggie is done.
  • 12. Remove from flame and serve with chapati or prantha. It can be stored in fridge for even a week .
