Ingredients For Semolina dhokla Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Roast semolina on low flame. Cool it completely.
  • 2. In a bowl take semolina and curd. Mix very well.
  • 3. Add water to form a semi thick batter. Add salt.
  • 4. Keep the batter at rest for 10 minutes. Add more water if required.
  • 5. Add baking soda or eno salt and mix fast.
  • 6. Put the batter in a greased container. Steam dhokla for 12-15 minutes on medium high flame.
  • 7. Cool dhokla completely. Cut into square pieces.
  • 8. Heat oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds .Crackle it .Add curry leaves.
  • 9. Add chopped green chillies and sesame seeds. Stir. Add 1/2 cup water and 1 spoon of sugar. Bring a boil.
  • 10. Pour this mixture evenly on dhokla. Garnish with green coriander leaves.
