Ingredients For Stuffed Mini Uttapum Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Mash the potatoes. In a mixing bowl add all the stuffing material. Mix well.
  • 2. Divide it in equal parts.Make flattened balls.
  • 3. In other bowl, add rava, curd, black pepper, red chilli powder, salt and 2-3 tbsp water. Mix it and keep aside to rest for minimum 2 hrs.Check the consistency if required, add water in it.
  • 4. Before making uttapum mix baking soda in it.
  • 5. Heat a nonstick griddle. Grease with oil.Pour 1 spoon of batter on tawa,place stuffing ball, again pour 1 spoon of batter over it.
  • 6. Cook it on low medium heat from both sides till it becomes crispy and golden.
  • 7. Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds. When it crackle add karri leaves and turmeric powder.
  • 8. Put the prepared uttapum in the pan. Coat the tadka over it. turnoff the flame.
  • 9. Transfer it in serving plate.serve with any sauce or chutney.
