Ingredients For Tomato curry/Thakkali curry(with coconut milk) Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add 2 tbsp coconut oil.
  • 2. Add 1 tsp mustard seeds,allow them to splutter.
  • 3. Now add curry leaves,sliced onions and chopped green chilies.
  • 4. Saute and cook until onions are translucent in color.
  • 5. When onion turns translucent add chopped tomatoes and salt.
  • 6. Stir and cook tomatoes until they turns soft and mushy.
  • 7. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder, garam masala mix well and cook for 1 -2 minutes.
  • 8. Stir coconut milk and add to tomato masala.
  • 9. Stir well, simmer curry for 1 minute or just heat the milk and remove from the heat.
  • 10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with steam rice.
