Ingredients For Dal Rasam Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan on medium flame. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, curry leaves, dry red chilli and green chilli.
  • 2. Add tomato puree with spices. Sauté till oil gets separated.
  • 3. Add dal, water and salt. Bring it to boil and add tamarind pulp.
  • 4. Simmer for 10 minutes and add coriander leaves.
  • 5. Remove from the flame and serve hot with rice.
