Ingredients For Vermicelli Golden Matcha Gulkand Cake Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dry roast vermicelli.
  • 2. Now boil 750 ml milk and add ⅓ cup roasted vermicelli in a wok.
  • 3. Cook on low flame about 40 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • 4. Meanwhile in a another wok add ⅔ cup of water to ⅔ cup roasted vermicelli.
  • 5. Give a boil then cook covered on medium flame till well Swollen and water dries up. (4 - 5 minutes).
  • 6. Now add ½ cup of sugar mix.
  • 7. Cook again for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • 8. Switch off the flame and rest it for 5 minutes.
  • 9. Grease a cake mould with butter.
  • 10. Pour cooked vermicelli into a greased cake mould.
  • 11. Let it set for 15 minutes.
  • 12. Meanwhile when milk is reduced and thick like as kheer add ¼ Cup sugar cook for 5 minutes.
  • 13. Add milk powder mix and switch off the flame.
  • 14. Add 1 tbsp Golden matcha powder and mix well.
  • 15. Add melted white chocolate and mix well.
  • 16. Now soak ¼ cup china grass, 1 tsp golden matcha powder in 1 cup of water for 10 minutes then boil it and cook china grass melts completely. mixture has also thickened.
  • 17. Add dissolved China grass to vermicelli kheer (retain 2 tablespoon for top layer) and mix well.
  • 18. Pour immediately over dry vermicelli in cake mould.
  • 19. Refrigerate for an hour.
  • 20. Melt 2 tbsp Gulkand .
  • 21. Add half cup of Amul fresh cream.
  • 22. Add one teaspoon Golden matcha powder and mix well.
  • 23. Melt retained China grass again with 2 tablespoon of water.
  • 24. Pour melted China grass in Gulkand mix.
  • 25. Add one drop of pink food colour and mix well.
  • 26. Pour immediately over set vermicelli cake.
  • 27. Garnish with chopped pistachios.
  • 28. Refrigerate for further an hour to set completely. Demould it and serve it.
