Ingredients For Aaloo ki banarsi sabzi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and cut potatoes into cubes.
  • 2. Blend tomatoes.
  • 3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add asafoetida, jeera, saunf spices. Add kari leaves. Let spices splutter.
  • 4. Add ginger garlic paste and green chilli. Cook well. Add tomato puree.
  • 5. Cook till oil starts separating. Add dry spices.
  • 6. Mix well. Add potatoes. Mix and add water.
  • 7. Close the lid of the cooker and give 4-5 whistles.
  • 8. Turn off the gas. Let the pressure release completely.If required add boiled water to get desired consistency. Sabzi should not be to thick.
  • 9. Garnish with freshly chopped green coriander leaves.
  • 10. Serve with paratha or poori.
