Ingredients For Chole Masala Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak chickpeas for 12 hours
  • 2. In a pressure cooker add 5 tbsp oil and heat it. Add pureed onions to it. Roast them until brown.
  • 3. Once they get brown add garlic, ginger and green chillies. Now add pureed tomatoes to it.
  • 4. Add garam masala, jeeravan, dhaniya powder, red chilli powder, turmeric, jeera amd and salt.
  • 5. Add the soaked chickpeas along with half tbsp soda.
  • 6. Close the lid of pressure cooker and keep the flame on until 6 whistles.
  • 7. You tasty and quick chole masala is ready. Serve hot with kulcha.
