Ingredients For Coconut and Chocolate Momos With Grapes and Pomegranate Jam Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Method for Coconut and Chocolate Momos - In a bowl take maida, cocoa powder, 2 tbsp oil, salt and coconut milk and knead it into a soft dough.
  • 2. Heat oil in a pan add grated coconut, sugar, almond, cashew, raisins, elaichi powder, condensed milk, water 1/2 cup mix all the ingredients properly and cook for 10-15 minutes
  • 3. Take the maida dough and make small balls out of it and cover it with moist napkin.
  • 4. Take each dough ball and on a lightly dusted board roll each dough balls into a thin circle of about 2-3 inch diameter.
  • 5. The edges have to be thin and centre have to be thick.
  • 6. Place 1 or 2 tbsp of coconut stuffing in the centre.
  • 7. Give the momos desired shape of your choice.
  • 8. Grease the steamer pan with 2 tbsp oil.
  • 9. Arrange the momos in the pan keeping space between them.
  • 10. Steam the momos for 5-6 minutes till the outer cover becomes transparent.
  • 11. Method for Grapes & Pomegranate Jam - Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan add grapes and pomegranate.
  • 12. Then add sugar, salt, chilli powder, vanilla essence and cook for sometime.
  • 13. Roughly grind the jam mixture.
  • 14. Again put it back in the pan and cook for another 5-10 minutes until water dries up.
  • 15. Garnish with chopped grapes and pomegranate.
