Ingredients For Dahi Gujia Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First of all soak uad dal for 1-2 hrs, grind the urad dal with minimum water(1 or2 tablespoon) to get a thick paste.
  • 2. Now beat the dal paste to make it fluffy, just add hing into it and leave.
  • 3. Now to prepare stuffing, mix chopped dry fruits ( chopped almonds, kaju, rasins) with 1 teaspoon of chat masala.
  • 4. Then add 1 teaspoon of black salt, chopped ginger and green chilli. Stuffing is ready
  • 5. Now take a wet cotton cloth, pat a small dal paste, put the stuffing and just fold the cloth.
  • 6. As we fold it will take gujia shape. With wet hands, take this gujia slowly and deep fry it n put this dal gujia in warm water.
  • 7. Meanwhile, beat the curd, add rest of black salt, chat masala, red chilli powder and roasted jeera powder.
  • 8. Mix it well, squeeze the excess water from dal gujia and put into the earthen pot. Now put the curd over it.
  • 9. Dahi gujia is ready, spread sweet chutney over it and serve. Dahi gujia is ready to enjoy.
