There are many paneer recipes that we all love like malai paneer or paneer butter masala or paneer bhurji or Paneer lababdar and the list is endless. Ingredients For Lemon Coriander Paneer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Making Beresta- Chop thin slices of 1 small-medium onion and deep fry until golden brown. Take out the fried onion and keep it aside.
  • 2. In a blender take 1-1.5 cups of coriander juice from 1lime (approx 1tbsp) 1 small tomato cut in cubes 3 tablespoon of curd and the fried onion i.e beresta and grind it to a smooth paste.
  • 3. Take 200 grams of paneer and cut in cubes. In a pan take 2-3 teaspoon of oil and shallow fry the paneer cubes until they are golden brown from all side.
  • 4. Transfer the fried paneer in warm water (this helps to keep the paneer soft and doesnot make it rubbery).
  • 5. Add in oil if required and add in 2-3 green cardamom 1 small cinnamon stick and 1/2 tsp of jeera. Temper them.
  • 6. Add in 1 & 1/2 tsp of ginger paste and saute it until the raw smell goes away. Add in 1/2 cup chopped tomato and salt (as per taste) and fry it until the tomatoes are cooked well.
  • 7. To the tomatoes add in the coriander paste & 1tsp of turmeric powder 1tsp of kasmiri lal mirchi powder 1tsp of coriander powder and 1/2tsp of jeera (cumin powder) & 1/2tsp of garam masala powder. Saute and cook the masala until oil separates from the mixture.
  • 8. Add in 1tbsp of lime juice and mix well. Add in little water and 4-5 tbsp of milk and cook for 5-6 mins on low heat.
  • 9. Add in the fried paneer cubes and mix with the masala. Add in salt and sugar as per taste and add in water if required.
  • 10. Cook everything for 2-3 minutes and switch of the flame. Serve hot with roti or naan and enjoy.
