Ingredients For Methi Paratha Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a mixing bowl. Now add 1 cup of finely chopped methi leaves. Make sure to wash the leaves well and discard the stem.
  • 2. Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, ginger paste, ajwain and salt to taste.
  • 3. Furthermore, add 2 tsp of oil to make paratha more soft.
  • 4. Mix all the ingredients together. Now add some water and flour to knead the dough.
  • 5. Take a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it. Now roll it in a circle of about 5 to 5.5 inches in diameter.
  • 6. Furthermore, dust some flour and roll off to a chapati size.
  • 7. Now to roast methi paratha, take a tawa ,spread oil over it and place the rolled paratha over medium flame.
  • 8. Once the base of paratha is partly cooked, flip the paratha.
  • 9. Add oil and press slightly. Flip paratha again once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly.
  • 10. Take out paratha on serving plate and serve hot with green chutney, butter or pickle.
