Mutton Curry Recipe

Mutton Curry cooked in a Bengali style with simple ingredients. Just added fried potatoes into the curry for enhance the better test. Normally Bengali people cook this on festival time like Puja occasions.

Ingredients For Mutton Curry Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Marinate the washed mutton with curd, all the powdered masala exept garam masala powder, mustard oil, ginger garlic paste, whole garam masala, salt and 3/4 cup barista .mix it well and keep it for atleast 15 minutes. In the meantime peel the potatoes and wash properly and cut into 2 pieces each
  • 2. Put refind oil on a frying pan and keep it on flamed gas oven for heat the oil. Add potato pieces in the frying pan. Fry till golden colour. Now take a kadai and put the marinated mutton in the kadai,add 1 cup water and let it be cooked for 10 minutes or till dry mutton. Keep the flame low.
  • 3. Stirr the mutton sprinkle with water. Repeat it 3/4 times. Add 2 cup of water. Let it be cooked for 30-40 minutes. Add fried potato pieces and mix it well. Add 1 cup more water. cook it on low flame for 20 minutes covering the kadai with lid. Add barista on a kadai,ghi and garam masala powder.
  • 4. Serve with Nun, Paratha, Roti,Rice and Pulao.
