Chatpaty oats tikki is a good option for a tea time snack.one can enjoy it guilt free as it is full of healthy ingredients like oats and veges and also it's shallow fried.

Heat 2 tsp of oil in kadhai.Add green chillies and ginger and soute it for 7 -8 seconds,add onions and soute it till light pink and translucent.Then add carrots,peas, capcicum and salt.cook it till half cooked on low flame.

Mash the veges with masher and add grated potatoes .Add all the dry spices , salt,soaked oats and coriander .Mix well and switch of the flame as soon as mixture is well combined.

Let the oats mixture be cool diwn .make tikkis as per reqired size and roll it with the remaining 1/4 cup oats.

Heat apoximately 2 to 3 tbs of oil in a non stick tawa and shallow fry it till golden brown from both the sides.Enjoy it with tomato sauce or green chatney.
