Potato Sago Katori Chaat Recipe

Sabudana is known as sago in english. Famous items from sabudana are sabudana khichdi or sabudana vada. Here in my recipe today have made sabudana katori and used it to serve in chaat form! Hope you like this different from of chaat from sabudana! You can serve this in farali items by changing the filling. Note: Quantity and/or ingredients of the filling and toppings can be changed as per our liking!

Ingredients For Potato Sago Katori Chaat Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For potato sago katori- in a mixing bowl take sabudana washed and soaked, medium sized potatoes boiled and grated, green chilli paste, salt, roasted cumin seeds powder and black pepper powder. Mix everything properly.
  • 2. Give the mixture shape of a katori and place the katori in a stainless steel sieve. Deep fry them from both the sides.
  • 3. Similarly make the other katoris. Keep them aside so they become cool.
  • 4. For the topping: in another mixing bowl take the pieces of tomato, raw mango, all the three chopped capsicums, chaat masala, salt and red chilli powder. Mix well properly.
  • 5. Arrange the potato sago katoris in a serving plate and place around 1 tbsp of the filling in the katoris.
  • 6. Top the filling with hung curd, sweet chutney and green chutney. Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves
  • 7. Served with green chutney and thick sweet chutney. In different bowls curd and filling are also served, so if someone wants extra can take it.
