Methods
  • 1. Mix coconut and jaggery together, cook the mixture on medium flame for 8-10 minutes, stir continuously. Now keep aside.
  • 2. Now take sweet potato. Peel the skin and smash them well, add rice flour, pinch of salt, 2 tbsp jaggery and mix them well. You can add warm water (if needed), knead gently and make a smooth dough.
  • 3. Now take a pan, add 400 grams sugar and 500 ml water, bring to boil on medium heat. Now boil it for 4 minutes, keep aside.
  • 4. Now take small portion of dough, make a bowl, now take some coconut-jaggery stuffing and put inside the dough bowl. Now seal the edges.and give a shape of pitha.
  • 5. Now heat oil on medium flame and fry the pitha until golden brown
  • 6. Now take them out on a tissue.after 5 minutes dip the fried pitha in sugar syrup. Add 3-4 drops of rose essence and serve after 2hours.
