Methods
  • 1. Pressure cook toor dal for 2to 3 whistle. Then when cool smash it nicely
  • 2. Then in another cooker add oil, fry mustard seeds, hing, dry red chilli, curry leaves an let it crackle add, chopped onions an mix then add tomatoes an keep stirring till oil comes out. Then add chopped dosaca, & sambar pd an mix well then add water an pressure cook it for 3 whistle
  • 3. Then when cool, add it to the cooked sambar dal and add chopped coriander leaves, salt and tamarind pulp an bring it to a boil an keep aside
  • 4. Method for making one minute rasam: take a pan of water, and bring it to a boil then add the one minute rasam powder an keep stirring till it comes to a boil. Then add salt& black pepper pd according to its taste
  • 5. Method for making vegetable palya: pressure cook chopped carrots, beans, cabbage and keep it cool
  • 6. Then in a kadai add oil, add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, dry red chilli , let it crackle then add the cooked vegetable salt, sambar powder, coriander leaves, grated coconut and mix well
  • 7. Method for making rice kheer : boil milk till it becomes half of the quantity. Then add the rice an mix well . After one boil simmer the gas , keep checking till the rice is cooked. Then add sugar & few strands of kesar and mix well. Then add chopped cashew nuts, almonds and mix well
