Ingredients For YELLOW URAD DAL / LENTIL KHASTA KACHORI RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Soak yellow urad dal/lentil for 4 - 5 hours. and ground coarsely.
  • 2. Heat oil in a pan.
  • 3. Add cumin seeds,asafoetida,crushed,coriander seeds and crushed fennel seeds.
  • 4. Let them splutter and saute for one minutes
  • 5. Add chopped green chilly and ginger paste and saute for one to two minutes
  • 6. Now add urad dal and mix well.
  • 7. Add all dry ingredients and salt and mix well.
  • 8. Now stuffing is ready.
  • 9. Heat enough oil in a pan for deep frying.
  • 10. First on high flame then make it medium flame or low.
  • 11. Now divide the dough into equal size balls.
  • 12. Flatten the balls with your palm.
  • 13. Place a small ball of stuffing in the center and seal it properly.
  • 14. Now roll the balls.
  • 15. It should be little thick.
  • 16. Place the kachori into the oil for frying.
  • 17. Fry in small batches.
  • 18. Deep fry in medium hot oil until golden n crispy.
  • 19. Drain and serve.
