1.
Wash and clean the chicken. Keep it aside after taking out all the excess waters.

Dry roast kasuri methi and crush it into powder. In a mixing bowl, take all the ingredients (except chicken and oil) and make a smooth paste.

Add this to washed chicken, mix it nicely and marinate it for 2 hours. If possible, you can marinate it overnight.

Add oil in a pan. When it is hot, place chicken pieces one by one on mid-low flame. Fry it until each sides and nicely fried.

When all the sides are fried and turns in brownish color, pour the excess marinated gravy into this. Cook it for another 3 minutes.
6.
Add a small amount of boiling water and cover it for next 10 minutes on low flame. Open the lid,check if the chicken pieces are completely boiled or not. If not, cover it for another 5-6 minutes .
7.
Check the gravy. If you want extra gravy, let it be. If want a little dry, boil it on high flame for 3 minutes and serve hot.
