Ingredients For Chana Paneer Paratha Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and soak chana in warm water for 7-8 hours or overnight. Then boil in pressure cooker with little salt and enough water till 4-5 whistles or till tender. Then strain water from it and cool down completely at room temperature.
  • 2. Grind boiled chana coarsely in mixer grinder and transfer into mixing bowl. Add crumbled paneer, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, green chili garlic ginger paste, chat masala, black pepper powder, red chili powder, roasted cumin seeds powder and lemon juice.
  • 3. Combine all ingredients well. Adjust salt. Chana paneer stuffing is ready.
  • 4. For dough, mix wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt and oil. Knead soft dough with required water. Rest for 15 minutes. Make equal size balls from it.
  • 5. Take a ball, dust with flour and roll out small roti. Put approximate 2 tablespoon stuffing into centre and seal by pleating. Flatten it, dust with flour and roll out paratha gently.
  • 6. Cook both sides with ghee or oil till golden spots appears. Serve paratha with curd or raita, green chutney and homemade butter.
