Corn carrot samosa Recipe

These samosas are air-fried and for outer covering, instead of maida wheat flour is used, which makes it more healthy. For the stuffing, I have used carrots, corn, and capsicum along with spices. Serve it as a party snack or munch it with your tea. Enjoy the goodness of taste without guilty as only 2-3 tsp oil you need to fry it.

Ingredients For Corn carrot samosa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take the flour into bowl. add salt, carom seeds, ghee and mix it.
  • 2. Use required quantity of water to knead a dough. Dough should be neither too soft nor too hard.
  • 3. Cover it and keep it aside. Boil the sweet corn kernels.
  • 4. Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste and saute.
  • 5. Add finely chopped onion and saute. Add salt to the proportion of onion.
  • 6. When onion soften up, add tomatoes and cook it till soften up.
  • 7. Now add carrot and capsicum and cook it. Add boiled sweet corn.
  • 8. Add salt, dhaniya powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and mix it.
  • 9. Add pepper powder, and oregano and mix it. add chopped mint and coriander leaves to it.
  • 10. Lastly add lemon juice and mix well. Stuffing is ready.
  • 11. Roll out patti using prepared dough. Fill the mixture in center.
  • 12. Apply water to the edges of samosa and Seal the edges.
  • 13. Press the edges using fork to ensure it has covered properly.
  • 14. Brush it using little oil. Preheat the air fryer at 200 degree for 5 minutes.
  • 15. Air fry the samosa for 15 minutes at 200 degree.
  • 16. Serve it with tomato ketchup or tamarind chutney.
