Kesar Gulab Meethi Boondi

Ingredients For Kesar Gulab Meethi Boondi

Methods
  • 1. Take a bowl. Shift the gram flour / besan, add baking soda. Now add water gradually and whisk it.
  • 2. Make sure the batter is free flowing. Now add 1tsp of oil. And whisk properly.
  • 3. Now divide the batter into 2 bowls into 60:40 ratio. In the bowl having 60parts of batter add crushed saffron stard and yellow colour and whisk well.
  • 4. Now add rose essence and red colour into the batter and whisk well.
  • 5. Now take a heavy bottom kadai and refined oil for deep frying the boondi. Now add ghee and let it heat up.
  • 6. Now take a perforated ladle. Lower the flame of the gas to low. Now add the Kesar flavoured batter and fry the boondi in batches. Wipe the ladle after frying every batches.
  • 7. Once the Kesar boondi are fried now fry the rose flavoured boondis.
  • 8. Meanwhile take a big sauce pan add the sugar and water. Add ghee and make one strand syrup.
  • 9. Now add all the boondis into the sugar syrup. Mix a little. Now add the roasted pumpkin seeds and raisins into it.
  • 10. Let the boondis soak for about an hour.
  • 11. Serve it with chilli mishti doi and hot gulo luchi.
