Ingredients For Mango pulao recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take rice ,wash and soak for an hour.After one hour drain the excess water of the rice. Now take some water .Add bay leaves, cardamom,cloves,cinnamon.Bring to boil.Now add 1 tbsp oil and some salt.Mix well.Now add the rice and boil 90%.Now drain the rice starch and spread the rice on a plate.
  • 2. Now peel the mangoes and cut one mango into small pieces.Now squeeze another mango ,strain the juice and keep aside.
  • 3. Now take a pan .Heat the pan on medium flame.Add 3 tbsp vegetable oil and 1tbsp ghee . Add cashew nuts and stir fry for 1.5 minutes ,add raisins and fry together for 30 seconds.Now add the boiled rice ,powder sugar ,mango juice, mango pieces and mix well. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • 4. Now add black pepper powder and dry roasted masala.mix well .Now turn off the gas.Cover with a lid and keep aside for 20-30 minutes.After 30 minutes the pulao is ready to serve.
